Nurturing our Mojo together.

Day One

Suggested Itinerary - Wake to the Bell bird and Tui signaling the new day and enjoy a stunning breakfast on the deck. We pack our lunch and head off up the valley via the native stand and the Nikaus and over into the Aroparonui valley. Hear stories of local history as we journey the routes and pathways of early Maori who inhabited the area. Our return journey is along the coast from this neighbouring bay to Waipatiki for a swim and to relax on the beach.
Grow your culinary knowledge by taking part in a fish curing and smoking workshop before enjoying the fruits of your labour.

(Piper excelsum) Traditional medicinal plant, used by Maori.

Day Two

We walk to the top of the ridge to view the sunrise and a take part in a guided yoga practice on the plateau. Experience the tranquility of the valley and the bay at this time.
Depending on how we feel we may choose to walk the red woods and on to the three pools at the top of the valley. This is two to three hour walk to enjoy together before returning home for lunch prepared for us by the super talented Pia Russell.
The afternoon is then yours to relax at the bach or at the beach. At this time we perform our ritual of giving back to this beautiful place by planting a native tree.

Day Three

Take part in a restorative yoga before breakfast and a relaxed pack up, leaving to return home at your leisure.

What a day, one to remember, one to embrace, one to lock in the calendar for an annual event. Taking the time to be as one with nature, away from the busy days that all of us mothers have.
