Retreat

Nurture Me - Wellness Retreat

––– Retreat and Flourish with Mojo.

A warm welcome awaits you at Waipatiki Beach Hawke's Bay New Zealand.
Tucked into Te Karaka o Waipātiki Sanctuary you will kick back with us amid native bird song and the sounds of the sea to truly flourish.

It is a chance to encounter the life you forgot you could have.

Sacred Rock at Sunrise.
Expansive coastal beauty, golden sand beach and lush native bush.

Day one

Spend the day travelling to us. We can collect you from the airport or provide instructions for you to meet us at Waipatiki Beach Hawke's Bay, New Zealand (30 mins from Napier)
On your arrival we will welcome you and settle you into to your comfortable and contemporary Bach accommodation. We will share a light meal together back at MOJO Homebase, your first opportunity to meet Pia and experience her ability to 'connect people' around her tantilising food.

The evening is then yours, take the time to walk the beach and relax into this place.

Kawakawa leaf
(Piper excelsum) Traditional medicinal plant, used by Maori and abundant in Te Karaka o Waipātiki - Waipatiki Sanctuary.

Day two

Meet us at MOJO Home base on Tangitu Dr for breakfast and then to set out on our bush and beach walk. We will walk through the village and the bush reserve up into the Nikau Forest before returning for a gentle stretch. Lunch with Pia, our very own Food Goddess will follow.
After lunch and a Kawakawa tea and take part in a personal reflection. Here we chat through your mindset for change and the areas in your lives which may require new energy for us to flourish.
There is never any expectations, this session is purely to awaken what you already know and to provoke action if needed.

After a break we will settle in with Megan for Restorative Yoga. If you have never experienced this before you are in for a treat. Restorative yoga is designed to slow us down to open our bodies and enable a deep relaxation.

Freshen up before dinner at your own Bach and gather to enjoy a glass of wine or Kombucha with your evening meal.
Relax for the evening or stay and chat around the fire.
Return to your own Bach to tuck up and sleep tight.

Day Three

Optional, but not to be missed, is the sunrise walk to the Te Wharangi - sacred rock; after which we take part in a flow yoga session overlooking the beach. Megan leads a Yin Flow session which is easily achievable for all experience levels.
Fresh coffee and a tantilising breakfast await back at the Bach.

In the 2 hours of alone, silence that follows you have the opportunity to just sit with the experience. It may also be a time to reflect and formulate your intentions as we return to our lives and loved ones. At this time you may like to schedule a massage with Rachael.

As we come back together Pia makes our lunch and opens her kitchen for us to take part in the preparation. She will teach us the joy of cooking with seasonal local ingredients and amaze you with her generous love of food and people.

After lunch we plant a native tree as our give back to this precious place. It is our contribution to Te Karaka o Waipātiki, sanctuary project.

This is your Mojo Journey so come alone or with your girls we will wrap you up and show you the life you forgot you could have.

Mojo Tribe

The Mojo Journey Retreat exceeded my expectations. The retreat provided an inspirational, supportive and compassionate environment for growth - in my case finding joy in life again. Being guided by the gorgeous and inspirational facilitators we were able to find time to look inwards and have the space to think about how we would like to see our futures look. Thank you so much Ange - I do hope many others get to experience what you are offering. Truly life changing! :)
