Haupouri Station on Cape Kidnappers offers us an uplifting and awe inspiring day of wow moments from start to finish. We are treated to immense coastal views and serene seaside trekking. We can customise the distance we cover on this walk to suit your group.
We are welcomed by the Hansen family and learn a little of the incredible commitment by generations past and present to this rugged but generous landscape.
We will carry snacks, water and the 'Billie' for a hot cup of tea on the trek. A late picnic lunch will be set at 'The Shooters Hut' on Ocean Beach and the opportunity to horse trek in the regenerated dunes is also an option before walking to meet our transfer back to Napier.
This walk can be embarked upon with a group as a day trip or combined with bed and breakfast for a weekend escape.
